Add, modify and delete previous experience (macOS)
You may add previous experience to your logbook to modify the totals calculated from logged flights. Previous Experience can only be added for a specified aircraft Type. Therefore any types for which you want to include previous experience for must be added first.
To add, modify or delete previous experience choose Pilot Logbook > Settings… > Previous
Previous experience will only be added to logbook totals if the Include in totals checkbox is selected.
Add or modify previous experience
- In the Pilot Logbook app on your Mac, choose Pilot Logbook > Settings… > Previous
- Click the expand button
next to the aircraft type you want to add previous experience to.
To add a new aircraft type click New Type and fill in the popover form. - In the displayed form enter the previous experience time for each field as required.
- Certain fields will be disabled if the total flight time or the total simulator time for the type is equal to zero.
- The form will not allow you to enter a sum of function times greater than the total flight time for the type.
- The form will not allow you to enter a sum of FSTD times greater than the total simulator time for the flight.
- The values will be automatically saved as they are entered.
Delete previous experience
Deleting previous experience will permanently remove it from your logbook and this will be reflected in the displayed and calculated totals.
- In the Pilot Logbook app on your Mac, choose Pilot Logbook > Settings… > Previous
- Next to the type for which you want to delete previous experience click the Delete button
